Engagement in companies we invest in is our main socially responsible investment strategy which enables us to invest responsibly by concentrating on interesting investment targets without constraining our investment universe. For engagement, Limestone utilizes management meetings and voting at company annual general meetings (AGMs). By researching company specific environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues and communicating our recommendations to managements, we hope to bring about significant change in companies that need it the most.

Our in depth pro-active engagement process involves detailed analysis of financial and ESG issues, meetings and dialogues with managements where specific suggestions are given and manager's receptiveness to those changes is monitored. In order to enhance the possibility of a positive outcome from engagement, we are open to work together with other investment managers active in emerging Europe either through our network of contacts or Engagement Clearinghouse forum in UN Principles for Responsible Investment Intranet.
